After Booking – Frequently Asked Questions & Answers

Yay! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Once you have signed your contract & paid your retainer payment, you are officially booked. After booking, you should have received a link to your Client Portal to start planning your reception. If you have not, please let us know!

You can work on the Client Portal whenever you have downtime before your final meeting with your DJ.

We also have a great checklist for you for 6 months up until the big day to help with planning – click here to download that!

We will reach out to you 4-6 weeks before your big day to set up your final planning meeting with your DJ – this is when you will go through all of those details in your Client Portal, and your DJ will create a detailed timeline of your day, based on the details you have provided.

Your final payment is due 20 days prior to your wedding day.

This is perfectly normal! After you are booked, you’ll have plenty of time before your final planning meeting with your DJ. This is when you’ll want to work on your Client Portal and pick out your special music selections.

For DJ services, we require the following from you/your venue:

Great question! We like to get to the venue at least a few hours early to set up and connect with you, your vendors, etc. and we require at least one hour after event ends for load out.

For DJ services, we require access to the venue at least 2 hours before start time.

For photo booth services, we arrive 1-2 hours before start time. Setup will be complete at least 15 minutes before start time. If you need us to arrive sooner, let us know!

For lighting services, we require access to the venue at least 2 hours before start time.

That’s okay! We know it’s a lot of pressure to make every moment perfect. We’re here to help – we’re the pros!

Just a reminder, your final balance is due 20 days prior to your wedding day.

Photo booths are ALWAYS a hit – great idea! We love the idea of giving a party favor of memories captured instead of something they might throw away right when they get home.
