After Booking – Frequently Asked Questions & Answers

Yay! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Once you have signed your contract & paid your retainer payment, you are officially booked. After booking, you should have received a link to your Client Portal to start planning your reception. If you have not, please let us know!

You can work on that Client Portal whenever you have down time before your final meeting with your DJ – don’t forget to click SAVE!

Your DJ will reach out to you 4-6 weeks before your big day to set up your final planning meeting – this is when you will go through all of those details in your Client Portal and your DJ will share a detailed timeline of your day, based on the details you have provided.

Your final payment is due 10 days prior to your wedding day.

Don’t hesitate to reach out to your DJ or to Haley in the office with any questions that may come up during the planning process!

This is perfectly normal! After you are booked, you’ll have plenty of time before your final planning meeting with your DJ. This is when you’ll want to work on your Client Portal.

Your DJ will reach out 4-6 weeks before your wedding day to set up a final planning meeting to go through all of the details for your big day and he’ll share a detailed agenda with you that he has created based on your Client Portal content.

For DJ services, we require the following from you/your venue:

  • Access to the facility at least 2 hours prior to the event start time
  • A standard banquet table (at least 6’ long) with linen near the performance area for the DJ’s use
  • One electrical outlet located within 25’ from performance area on a dedicated circuit not shared with any other vendors
  • Protection for DJ and equipment from sun and other weather conditions (for outdoor events)
  • 10’ wide by 8’ deep performance area for the sound and lighting equipment within 10’ of the dance floor.

For photo booth services, we require the following from you/your venue:

  • A standard banquet table (at least 6’ long) with linen
  • One electrical outlet located within 25’ of photo booth area on a dedicated circuit not shared with any other vendors

Additional labor charges or fees may apply if these items are not provided.

Great question! We like to get to the venue at least a few hours early to set up and connect with you, your vendors, etc. and we require at least one hour after event ends for load out.

For DJ services, we require access to the venue at least 2 hours before start time.

For photo booth services, we arrive 1-2 hours before start time. Setup will be complete at least 15 minutes before start time. If you need us to arrive sooner, let us know!

For lighting services, we require access to the venue at least 2 hours before start time.

Just a reminder, your final balance is due 10 days prior to your wedding day.

Photo booths are ALWAYS a hit – great idea! We love the idea of giving a party favor of memories captured instead of something they might throw away right when they get home.
