Drumroll please… Meet Richie DeMeglio! Richie is a french bulldog-owning (check out her Instagram here), bike-riding, loving husband and father who is always up for an adventure. He’s got great style and even greater passion for good music. Read more from Richie himself below:

Hi, I’m Richie!

I started DJing weddings and events while I was attending the University of Texas at Austin. I graduated from U.T. with a bachelors in Radio-Television-Film and have been DJing professionally ever since! I’ve proudly been in the business for over 10 years with It’s Your Night!

I absolutely love helping each couple create the most amazing night that they will remember for the rest of their lives. I am completely committed to making the event special by providing a great musical experience that’s tailored to each couple’s unique tastes. Music is one of my greatest passions and I have a natural ability of feeling out the crowd.

With many years of experience, you can be certain that I will help provide a wide range of song selections and make you feel like you are being taken care of by a professional. DJing weddings is a blast and my enthusiasm comes through with a fun, well-crafted set of music!

When I’m not DJing, I love spending time with my wonderful wife and our two awesome sons that we’ve been blessed with, Miles & Max.

It’s your night was AMAZING!! Richie was so in tune with our guests on the dance floor and we had many family and friends come up to us to let us know they hadn’t spent so much time on the dance floor at a wedding in YEARS! From our first meeting to the day of, Richie was wonderful. The communication during the planning process was incredible and the portal for planning was so helpful. We felt at ease the day of knowing our DJ/MC had everything under control and to say it all went smoothly is really an understatement. Our experience with It’s Your Night and our DJ, Richie, was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we reached out, the entire team was extremely responsive. They answered all of our questions quickly and worked with us on planning our event. All of the planning materials they provided were extremely helpful, they made sure we thought of every detail and really guided us as we made decisions. Working with Richie was also great – he was so personable not only with us as we planned the event but during our wedding as well. He read the room so well and kept people on the dance floor all night! We couldn’t have asked for a better vendor and highly recommend them!

We worked with Richie the DJ for our wedding at the beginning of May. We chose Richie over another DJ we interviewed because of his confidence and experience. The dance party was a priority at our wedding. Richie promised to read the room and keep everyone dancing while honoring a short list of our “must plays” and he delivered. We received a multitude of compliments on how Richie handled the flow of music from the ceremony through the last song of our reception. Richie and IYN are amazing. IYN is the whole package and makes wedding planning seamless. IYN staff is responsive and helpful. Richie is uber-talented. He mixed for a multigenerational guest list that kept the dance floor hot until the end of the night. He made our night the best party we’ll ever throw!

Richie did an AMAZING job for our wedding! We wanted music that would represent us as a couple, and we did not want super mainstream music all evening, so we were worried we would not find a good fit. When we met Richie, we knew that he had the exact personality, taste, and experience we were looking for. Richie really listened to us, and he did an amazing job at blending our taste with songs that everyone enjoyed. It felt very true to US, and we appreciated how receptive and helpful he was through the process.

Another fear of mine is that the party would not keep up momentum later in the evening, but he kept people dancing the whole night! We had a very wide range of ages at the wedding (not the typical young crowd), and he expertly curated the tone and mood of the evening to suit all the guests. It was a blast! My aunts and uncles were dancing alongside my younger friends and nephews - it was pretty perfect.

On top of that, I was SUPER impressed with the edits he made to our ceremony music and first dance song. They were absolutely spot on. The music at the ceremony is so important to the tone and experience, and he blended all the songs we chose seamlessly.

The whole company was extremely helpful, communicative, and professional through the whole process. I knew I was in good hands from the start!
