We love getting to know our couples and their story before booking with us, so that when it comes to the big day, we’re not only your entertainment vendor, but a friend, too! One of the couples who we got to know and work with is Rachel & Eric who recently got married at The Fort Worth Zoo.
After getting engaged in October of 2020, the recent medical school graduate and then veterinarian student began planning the wedding of their dreams! Rachel is now an exotic pet emergency veterinarian and she gets to see all manner of wildlife, so it was a no-brainer that their wedding would take place among the familiar creatures at the Fort Worth Zoo.
We were honored to provide a number of our services for the Siu wedding, including a live music set by our very own Jeremiah Brinkley and full DJ set and musical support for their ceremony & reception! But the fun didn’t stop there – our lighting team transformed The Reserve reception space with pin-spot lighting for the gorgeous floral arrangements and cake, warm uplighting, a leafy-pattern projection to draw eyes up the ceiling and our most popular “Love It” Photo Booth package to capture posed snapshots throughout the evening.
Jeremiah shared, “I knew this was going to be a blast of a couple when Rachel picked a piano version of the Pokemon theme song to walk down the aisle to! There were so many animals – snakes (including her pet snake, Lucy!), porcupines, hawks and giraffes. It was such a fun party overall, and I can’t believe I got to be a part of it! Rachel even posted a TikTok of me!”
