20 Questions with Richie

Richie is one of our beloved DJ’s here at IYN and is a ray of sunshine! If you know Richie, you love him. He knows exactly how to get all of your wedding guests on the dance floor and always knows how to have a good time. We wanted to highlight more of who he is in this fun game of 20 Questions with Richie!

1. What is your last played song on Spotify (no cheating!) “Absinthe Party At The Fly Honey Warehouse” – Minus the Bear
2. What’s the one snack we’d always find in your kitchen? String cheese 
3. What does a perfect weekend look like for you? Camping and mountain biking 
4. What Netflix show are you absolutely obsessed with right now? “Shrinking”…but it’s technically on Apple+ 
5. Where was your most memorable vacation? Going to Germany for 6 weeks when I was 19 years old 
6. A book about your life would be called: I’m So Tired
7. What’s your hidden talent? I can play the oboe.
8. Describe your personality in a single word. Adventurous 
9. If you could hop on a plane right this second, where would you go? Europe
10. Name three people who you would invite to your dream dinner party (historic figures welcome). My grandpa, Bruce Lee, and Zach Galifianakis 
11. What’s the best present you’ve ever received? An Etch-A-Sketch Animator
12. Name your go-to karaoke song: “Stay” – Lisa Lobe
13. Without a doubt, the best ice-cream flavor is: Mint Chocolate Chip 
14. If you could hop on a time machine, what period/place would you go to? 90’s music was pretty rad. 
15. Can you describe our company culture in just one word? Intentional 
16. What are two things that you love about working at this company? It’s a very positive work environment, and everyone that works here is awesome!
17. If you, as a wedding DJ, had a theme song, what would it be? “One More Time” – Daft Punk
18. What is one of your favorite moments at weddings? When it’s open dancing, and every single person is on the dance floor losing their minds.
19. Can you share your top two hobbies / activities outside of work? Mountain biking and back packing
20. What is your favorite thing about being a wedding DJ? Reading the crowd and playing the perfect music set for that specific wedding.
